Target words for spelling: Words with 3 sound boxes: catch, fetch, latch, patch, hatch, witch. Words with 4 sound boxes:  lunch, pinch, bench. Words with 5 boxes: branch, trench, drench. the letters 'ch' and 'tch' are grouped as one sound. Letters are the options for students to drag and drop into the empty boxes to spell the word. Each page has a simple sentence and image to show the meaning of the target word. The spelling of target words should be shown in horizontal disconnected boxes to capture the letters for each sound they hear. For example, the page on catch, should have (1) Sentence at the top shows "______ the ball."  (2) Below this, are 3 boxes for students to drag the letter options (3) letter options are 'c' 'a' 'ch' and 'tch' (4) At the sentence level and the spelling boxes level, there should be an audio button (speaker button) for students to click and the sentence 'Catch the ball' and the word 'catch' are read when the buttons are clicked. Have a start button. When start button is clicked the first question is presented and read, "Catch the ball. Spell 'catch'". (5) show an image to make the meaning of the target word and sentence clear to students.  All the other pages follow the same interface. Add a 'next' button to move to the 2nd word. Here are all the sentences: 'Fetch the stick.' 'Latch the door.' 'A cat is on the grass patch.' Wait for the chicks to hatch.' 'Snowy is a good witch.' Join me for lunch. Pinch yourself. Sit on the bench. That branch is breaking. Dig a trench. Drench him with a pail of water. randomise the order that the sentences and words appear. Image for 'catch' could show a glove catching the ball.
