Apply one test to one or two unknown plants and compare the scatter patterns directly.
Choose a test. The same test will be applied to every unknown plant shown.
Random Map Practice
Generate a black-and-white map, identify each dispersal method, and export the diagram.
Peer Challenge is locked. Identify each method and the supporting scatter pattern.
Question Creator
Place parent plants, generate seedlings, adjust the diagram, then lock it for a same-device peer challenge.
Set up the question, drag the parent plants, then generate the seedling patterns.

Advanced Water Layout
For teachers only. Design a custom river, coastline, inlet or lake using the 6 × 6 layout grid.
Advanced water-layout controls
For teachers only. These controls guide where the selected river, coastline, inlet or lake is generated.
Mark the actual route or area. Cells connect through shared sides. The layout engine reads the selected cells, identifies the water feature, asks for confirmation, then follows the selection: a river uses a narrow connected route between two map edges, a coastline uses a broad edge-connected water area, an inlet uses one edge-connected water area extending inland, and a lake uses an enclosed filled area that does not touch an edge.
How to mark each water feature
River
Mark a narrow continuous route. It may bend, and it must meet two map edges. The generated river follows this route.
Coastline
Shade the connected water area from a map edge inward. The boundary between selected and unselected cells becomes the coastline.
Inlet
Shade one connected water area that touches one map edge and reaches inland. It will be treated as an inlet and generated with coastline rules.
Lake
Shade one enclosed connected area away from all map edges. Its outer boundary becomes the lake shoreline.
Selected water-generation area
Use Analyse Selection first. The tool will identify the feature and ask for confirmation before generating it from this overlay.
Select the route or area shown in the examples. The generated water feature will follow the selected cells.
